We are seeking an experienced CRM & Retail Marketing Manager (m / f / d) to develop and implement a structured framework for Changan’s retail and CRM strategy across Europe. Reporting to the Head of Marketing and PR at Changan Europe, this role will focus on supporting retail networks and importers by equipping them with the right tools, systems, strategies, and guidance to ensure a consistent and effective customer journey—from first contact to long-term loyalty.
You will oversee both retail marketing activations and the implementation of CRM systems and processes at OEM and dealer level. This includes setting up a scalable CRM framework, aligning with local markets, and ensuring a smooth lead management journey across all touchpoints.

CRM Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive CRM strategy, connecting OEM and dealer-level systems to ensure a seamless customer journey.
- Evaluate and implement CRM platforms suitable for the automotive sector, ensuring compatibility across European markets.
- Define CRM processes, customer lifecycle touchpoints, and data flows in collaboration with local markets.
- Support NSCs and importers with CRM rollout, adoption, and best practice guidance.
- Ensure effective lead capture, tracking, and follow-up mechanisms between brand channels and dealer systems.
- Coordinate CRM campaigns from acquisition to retention, enabling personalized, data-driven customer engagement.
- Monitor CRM performance and customer data analytics to refine campaigns and drive efficiency.
Retail Marketing Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a retail marketing framework to support dealership networks and importers across multiple European markets.
- Ensure dealer websites are brand-consistent and functional, providing guidelines and oversight to maintain a unified digital presence.
- Provide tools, templates, and creative assets to empower dealerships and importers in local marketing.
- Lead the evaluation, selection, and deployment of marketing tools that enhance the effectiveness of retail campaigns.
- Support the allocation and co-management of local marketing budgets, ensuring strategic and high-impact use of funds.
- Review and approve local marketing plans, ensuring campaigns are aligned with the brand and asset-ready before sign-off.
- Track, monitor, and analyze local activations, offering recommendations for improvement and sharing best practices.
- Oversee retail-level marketing initiatives from brand-level campaigns down to retail activations and local test-drive events.
- Coordinate with sales, product, and aftersales teams to ensure consistent customer experiences across digital and physical touchpoints.
- Act as the go-to expert for local marketing teams, providing strategic input and operational support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a similar qualification.
- Several years of experience in retail marketing and CRM in the automotive industry, with a strong understanding of dealership operations.
- Proven expertise in implementing and managing automotive CRM systems at OEM and dealer level.
- Experience working with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, MS Dynamics, etc.) and marketing automation tools.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end customer journey and how to drive engagement at every stage.
- Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in German and English required; additional European languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel occasionally across Europe.
