PETER DÖHLE Schiffahrts-KG, based in Hamburg, is seeking a Crew Assistant (m/f/d) to support Crew Operations and Crew Accounting. The role involves coordinating with international seafarer agencies and ship command, assisting payroll tasks, and managing crew documents within a dynamic shipping environment.

The ideal candidate holds a commercial apprenticeship with shipping or tourism exposure, demonstrates organizational strengths, and communicates effectively in English.

Qualifikationen

• Completed commercial apprenticeship (ideally shipping or tourism related).
• Professional experience as an assistant or in a comparable position.
• Organizational talent with attention to detail.
• Intercultural competence and ability to work with international teams.
• Strong user knowledge of MS Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
• Fluent in English; German is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Support the Crew Operations and Crew Accounting teams in operational and organizational matters.
• Communicate with international seafarer agencies and the ship’s command.
• Assist payroll accounting activities as needed.
• Handle general assistant tasks such as mail processing, minutes of meetings, and invoicing.
• Organize and process relevant crew documents.
• Prepare employer’s references for German seafarers.
