This role involves partnering with top storytellers to bring their visions to life on the Pocket FM app across multiple content formats. You will collaborate with the creative team, marketers, data analysts, and producers to develop concepts, research, and data-driven strategies to market immersive scripted stories across genres. The ideal candidate combines a passion for entertainment and storytelling with a social media marketing acumen, aiming to define Germany’s growth strategy and playbook. Responsibilities :

• Oversee and manage a team of Promo Writers, Video Editors, and Marketers.
• Test content on social platforms (Meta, YouTube, TikTok) and optimize for low CPIs.
• Develop long-term strategies to recover ad spend within 6-12 months.
• Work with creative team members to dub and adapt US promotional material.
• Integrate AI into workflows to enhance efficiency and creativity.
• Design and iterate marketing assets rapidly for success.
• Identify marketplace trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with other departments to generate ideas based on market testing and evaluate ongoing series performance.
• Build partnerships with social media and entertainment companies to establish Pocket FM’s growth presence in the German media landscape.

Qualifications :

• 10+ years of experience at a creative level or higher in a studio, network, production company, startup, or corporation.
• Digital marketing expertise with experience managing paid campaigns.
• Ability to handle multiple projects within tight deadlines.
• Existing network of writers, marketers, and social media producers.
• Strong understanding of story elements, including theme, tone, structure, and narrative arcs.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and problem-solving mindset.
• Attention to detail and prioritization skills.
• Passion for storytelling and content creation.

Location : Germany - Remote working (Berlin preferred).

Language proficiency: Native German and basic English.
