We are currently looking for an experienced and highly committed Country Supply Chain Associate Director (m/f/d) to be based in Germany (location flexible).
In this strategic and operational role, you will oversee all supply chain activities across Germany, ensuring seamless integration with OPmobility’s global network.
With a strong presence in the field and close collaboration with plant operations, you will drive operational excellence and lead interactions across our customer and supplier interfaces.

Your Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Team Leadership
    Design and implement a country-wide supply chain strategy aligned with OPmobility standards. Build, develop, and lead a strong and agile local supply chain team.
  • Plant Support & Operations
    Ensure a regular presence across sites to support daily operations, new launches, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Customer Interface
    Act as the primary point of contact for key customers in both English and German. Collaborate closely with Sales, Purchasing, and Project teams to ensure full alignment.
  • Systems & Process Improvement
    Roll out SAP standards, lead process improvements, and implement performance-enhancing systems, including a capacity control tower for key activities.
  • Industrial Planning
    Support logistics flow and layout validation during the RFQ phase to ensure robust and cost-effective planning.
  • Innovation & Cost Optimization
    Promote and deploy smart logistics technologies (e.g., RFID, AGVs, e-trucks) and lead initiatives to reduce costs in transport, inventory, warehousing, and packaging.

Your Profile

  • Experience
    10–15 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, ideally within the automotive or industrial manufacturing sector. You have at least 5 years in a senior leadership role and strong experience on production sites.
  • Leadership & People Management
    Demonstrated ability to lead large operational teams and foster team engagement, development, and accountability.
  • Customer Orientation
    Familiar with the expectations and standards of major OEMs. You understand what it takes to meet demanding delivery, flexibility, and quality requirements.
  • Communication & Collaboration
    Excellent communication skills. You are able to align cross-functional teams, build trust with stakeholders, and drive results through influence.
  • Languages
    Fluency in English and German (spoken and written) is mandatory.
  • Mobility
    You are open and willing to travel regularly to our different plant locations.
  • Mindset
    You are resilient, pragmatic, hands-on, and results driven. You lead by example and thrive in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
