Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven National Sales Manager to lead and expand our pharmaceutical logistics vertical. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with 5+ years in freight forwarding and 5+ years in pharma logistics, particularly within the life sciences sector. You will manage key accounts while driving strategic growth through new business development across the Germany.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Management :
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing key accounts in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors.
- Ensure service excellence and compliance with GDP and other regulatory standards.
- New Business Development :
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the pharma and healthcare industries.
- Develop tailored logistics solutions to meet client-specific needs.
- Sales Strategy & Execution :
- Develop and implement national sales strategies aligned with global objectives.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams to leverage cross-border capabilities.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes.
- Provide insights to inform product development and service enhancements.
- Reporting & Forecasting :
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports.
- Use CRM tools to track activity and progress.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 year's experience in freight forwarding with a strong understanding of international logistics.
- Minimum 5 year's experience in pharma logistics, ideally within the life sciences vertical.
- Proven track record in key account management and new business acquisition.
- Strong knowledge of GDP, GxP, and temperature-controlled logistics.
- Fluent in German and English - both written and spoken.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel nationally as required.
