Country Manager Germany – Based in Berlin (On-Site)

We’re partnering with a fast-growing sustainability startup, backed by some of Europe’s most forward-thinking VCs. They are looking for their first Country Manager to focus on their Germany business. This is a pivotal role where you’ll have the chance to define and expand both the position and the team. This is a role where you will be tasked with bringing in new business in new verticals for the company which has already proven success in a vertical. You’ll work directly with the co-founder and gain mentorship from seasoned advisors and investors.

What You’ll Do:
  1. Lead growth in Germany by managing local teams, closing deals with key industry players, and exploring new market opportunities.
  2. Execute the go-to-market strategy in Germany, focusing on increasing market penetration, revenue growth, and expansion into untapped segments.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including processors, farmers, executives, and government officials.
  4. Align with leadership across Europe, sharing insights and best practices.
  5. Mentor team members and foster a culture of continuous learning.
What We’re Looking For:
  1. 5+ years of experience in fast-paced environments (consulting, start-ups, or scale-ups).
  2. Proven leadership in team management, strategic direction, and driving results.
  3. Experience leading complex enterprise sales processes and managing key accounts.
  4. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in fast-changing environments.
  5. Fluency in German and English, with a deep understanding of German culture and business.
  6. Based in Berlin.
