A global retail company is seeking a Country Manager for its expansion in Germany. The successful candidate will lead local teams, develop sales strategies, and manage operations. Candidates should have over 8 years of B2B experience, strong leadership skills, and be fluent in Chinese and German. This role offers a competitive salary package with potential bonuses.

Location: Germany
Salary: $100-150k basic plus bonus and commissions circa $292k package

The company has it’s headquarters in Shanghai and currently employs over 1,500 employees worldwide and has established branches and warehouses in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia and other regions, forming a global supply chain layout.
The brand mainly engages in MRO tools and equipment products, covering multiple scenarios such as front and backyard, auto repair, and residential use. With more than 20,000 types of products, it sells goods to over 200 countries and regions through third-party platforms like eBay and Amazon as well as its independent website.
It has over 10 million members and has grown into China's largest cross-border retailer with annual sales volume exceeding 15 billion yuan.
The brand is actively exploring the German market and since entering Germany, it has set up local warehouses and built an efficient logistics and distribution systems to ensure that products can be quickly delivered to German consumers.
Through platforms such as eBay and platforms such as eBay and Amazon, the company has promoted over 20,000 types of tools and equipment products covering scenarios like front and backyard, auto repair, and residential use to various parts of Germany. With a rich product range, high-quality products and considerate services, the company has accumulated a large number of users in Germany, helping German consumers conveniently meet their tool and equipment needs in various life and work scenarios, and continuously enhancing its brand influence.
We are now looking for a Country Manager to lead the growth/expansion and overall management of the brand in Germany.
Duties:
1. Establish and manage the local team.
2. Lead the team in designing and implementing sales strategies, plans and initiatives to achieve business objectives.
3. Formulate annual and monthly sales revenue and profit budgets for 2025 and beyond in accordance with the requirements of the headquarters.
4. Explore business opportunities, tap market potential, and establish online and offline sales networks.
5. Report on operational status and performance to the headquarters leadership on a weekly and monthly basis.
Requirements
1. At least 8 years of work experience in the B2B business model.
2. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
3. Outstanding collaboration and interpersonal skills.
4. Flexible, adaptable, and with a proactive attitude.
Organizational Structure
Reporting To: Director of International Business Department
Mandatory Requirements
1. Experience in building overseas business from scratch.
2. Experience in B-end channel development or store operation.
3. Candidates must have a background in the mobile terminal or consumer electronics industry.
4. Must be fluent Chinese speaker with a good command of German language skills.

5. Has served as an overseas/in-country executive for a Chinese funded enterprise
6. Has experience of European offline distributors of mobile phone industry brands such as Xiaomi, OPPO, VIVO, OnePlus and Anker Innovations.
7. Familiar with distributors and agents, such as Yinghe (a key focus),Xiaomi, and Transsion.
