Your Tasks

Manage / Supportcost engineering activities in different frames:
fromfeasibility studies to implementation proposals from specific subsystemsto E2E systems
forvery different domains, from Earth Observation to Telecommunication orScience Exploration
for avariety of customers, but in particular ESA, EC, DLR

Provide costingexpertise to the project team supporting the collection and validation ofcost input, from internal company sources (departments) and external teammembers and suppliers
Coordinate the costengineering activities ensuring the delivery of the required cost analyses(respecting the customer and the company internal requirements) in qualityand in time
Support the costoptimisation activities granting that the different constraints andrequirements are properly reflected (technical, programmatic, financial,georeturn, etc etc)
Ensure that the costanalyses is reviewed according to the internal policies and is alignedwithin all the internal stakeholders (management, BD, project team,departments, procurement, controlling, etc)
Contribute to thedefinition of the internal processes associated to cost engineering
Contribute to thedefinition of the set of tools and templates associated to costengineering
Contribute to theorganization and execution of in-house trainings on cost engineering

Your Qualifications

Hard requirements:

Completed studies(Diploma or Master) in aerospace engineering or equivalent qualification(i.e. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics)
Experience in costengineering (2 years +)
Advanced knowledgeof the MS suite, especially MS Excel (VBA, PowerQuery, PowerPivot,PowerBI)
Very good communication skills in oral / written English
Experience in the space sector

Additional competencesconsidered strong assets:

Experience in thecommercial space sector
System Engineeringor Project Management background (2 years +)
Very goodcommunication skills in oral / written German
