For the department " Costing " at the location Bremen we are looking for a Cost Engineer (d / f / m) to support us in full time (40h / week) with immediate effect.

Your main tasks and activities :

• Perform independent estimates during development and production phases and lead Design-to-Cost initiatives
• Perform Costing for newly launched or advanced projects and support cost estimation on bids / offers to ensure competitiveness and convergence on targets
• You provide recurring and / or non-recurring cost assessments with rationale by ensuring good understanding, credibility, and durable confidence in costing figures
• Provide support in projects to help identifying cost drivers and proposing best disruptive designs, configurations, solutions and industrial organizations in order to reduce product costs
• Cooperate through cross-functional teams and establish a working network within ArianeGroup stakeholders like : Programs, Design Offices, Engineering, Production, Industrialization, Purchasing
• Develop and capitalize more efficient cost engineering models, utilize statistical and mathematical methods and taking advantage of available corporate data

You have the following qualifications :

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Profound experience with manufacturing processes
• Excellent calculation skills as well as experience with Excel (VBA is a plus)
• Strong communication skills and a pro-active mindset
• Fluent in English and German (French is a plus)
