Gebr. Heinemann SE & Co. in Hamburg's HafenCity seeks a Corporate Risk Manager (m/f/d) to lead enterprise-wide risk identification, assessment and mitigation, and to develop the group-wide risk management approach.

You will advise corporate functions and international entities, build risk reports for management, contribute to risk tooling and methodologies for tenders, transitions and M&A, and collaborate across functions with German and English communication.

Qualifikationen

• A successfully completed degree in business, economics, industrial engineering, financial or business mathematics or similar.
• Several years of relevant professional experience in risk management, strategic controlling or related fields.
• Very strong analytical skills and the ability to structure complex matters into insights.
• Experience in preparing targeted reports or presentations for management levels.
• Very good written and spoken German and English; intercultural mindset.
• Ideally experience with risk management tools and data analysis in Python or R.

Your new job includes

As Corporate Risk Manager (m/f/d), you ensure that enterprise-wide risks are systematically identified, thoroughly assessed and managed through appropriate mitigation measures. Together with the existing Corporate Risk function, you will further develop the group-wide risk management approach and support corporate functions and international entities in managing risks effectively.
In particular, you will

• advise corporate functions and international entities of the Heinemann Group on identifying and assessing risks and act as a sparring partner in developing appropriate mitigation measures
• track the implementation of risk-mitigating countermeasures and assess their effectiveness analyze quantitative and qualitative risk data and prepare targeted risk reports for management bodies
• further develop the group-wide risk management process as well as existing risk and governance frameworks
• contribute to the functional design, implementation and further development of suitable risk management tools
• help develop risk management methodologies for tender, transition and M&A processes and contribute to special topics and ad-hoc requests related to risk management

What you should bring along

• A successfully completed degree, for example in business, economics, industrial engineering, financial or business mathematics or a comparable field
• Several years of relevant professional experience in risk management, strategic controlling, corporate transformation, process management or a comparable function, ideally gained in a management consultancy or an internationally operating company
• Very strong analytical skills and the ability to structure and evaluate complex matters and consolidate them into decision-relevant insights
• Experience in preparing targeted reports, decision papers or presentations for different management and stakeholder levels
• Strong communication skills and a confident manner when collaborating across different corporate functions and levels of seniority
• A very high degree of personal responsibility as well as a structured and consistently goal-oriented way of working
• Very good written and spoken German and English as well as a strong intercultural mindset
• Ideally, initial experience in designing or introducing risk management tools as well as knowledge of data analysis using Python or R
