A leading supplier of paints and coatings is searching for a Global Quality Management Expert to develop and harmonize the QMS across all sites and oversee external certifications for ISO9001, 14001, 45001, 50001. The role has a flexible location, Berlin or Düsseldorf, with global travel required and proficiency in English.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement a global quality management system aligned with the company's vision and values.
  2. Set and monitor global quality objectives, metrics, and report on product and process quality, customer claims, and quality-related costs.
  3. Lead and support the global quality team, including regional and site quality managers and continuous improvement specialists.
  4. Oversee external certifications for all sites (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001).
  5. Manage audit programs and ensure timely resolution of findings.
  6. Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to address quality risks and promote a quality culture.
  7. Establish Standard Operating Procedures for process and supplier validation.
  8. Stay updated on quality management best practices and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  9. Create a central Quality Assurance function to improve QC methodologies and tools.
Requirements
  1. At least 5 years of industry experience in quality management, preferably in a global setting.
  2. Proven experience leading quality systems and teams, with strong results.
  3. Knowledge of chemistry or process technology is a plus.
  4. Knowledge of ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean, and related quality standards.
  5. Understanding of sustainability, energy, and environmental aspects in an industrial context.
  6. Proficiency in English.
  7. Ability to build credibility and relationships internally and externally.
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence stakeholders.
  9. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  10. Proficient in data management, budgeting, and reporting.
