Job summary

Freudenberg Group, EagleBurgmann Germany GmbH & Co. KG, seeks a customs and export control specialist to ensure compliance across international trade.

The role demands deep knowledge of UCC and export regulations, with SAP expertise and the ability to translate complex rules into practical processes. You will join a global team, travel internationally as needed, contribute to process improvements, and support diverse business units in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• University degree or completed commercial vocational training with a focus on customs, export control, or international trade.
• Several years of professional experience in customs and export control within an industrial/manufacturing company
• Sound knowledge of the Union Customs Code (UCC) and German, European, and U.S. (re-)export control regulations
• Strong understanding of operational processes combined with analytical and process-oriented thinking
• Proven ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical and compliant operational solutions
• Advanced knowledge of SAP (ERP and GTS) and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent German and English language skills, along with willingness to travel internationally
• Strong team-oriented mindset and excellent teamwork skills
