Zusammenfassung

EagleBurgmann Germany GmbH & Co. KG in Wolfratshausen seeks a Corporate Customs Manager (f/m/d) to lead internal audits of subsidiaries in customs and export control, and to advise on international trade compliance across the group.

You will monitor current laws, translate regulatory requirements into practical processes, and support global operations with cross-border trade matters, including travel where needed.

Qualifikationen

• University degree or completed commercial training with a focus on customs/export or international trade.
• Several years of professional experience in customs/export control in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of UCC and German/European/U.S. export regulations.
• Analytical, process-oriented thinking and ability to implement regulatory requirements.
• Advanced SAP (ERP and GTS) and MS Office skills; fluent German and English; willingness to travel.

Aufgaben

• Conduct and monitor internal audits of EagleBurgmann subsidiaries in customs and export control compliance.
• Support global subsidiaries on international trade compliance and foreign trade law matters.
• Advise and train employees on compliant customs and export control processes.
• Regularly review legislation and adapt global processes accordingly.
• Monitor changes in export regulations and adjust global processes as required.
• Support and advise the International Trade Compliance team in day-to-day operations.

Corporate Customs Manager (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

• Conducting and monitoring internal audits of EagleBurgmann subsidiaries in the areas of customs and export control compliance
• Supporting global subsidiaries across the group on international trade compliance and foreign trade law matters
• Advising and training responsible employees of EagleBurgmann subsidiaries on the legally compliant execution of customs and export control processes
• Regularly reviewing current legislation and adapting global processes accordingly
• Monitoring changes in German, European, and U.S. export control regulations and implementing and adjusting global processes as required
• Supporting and advising the International Trade Compliance team in day-to-day operations and ensuring compliance, including adherence to the four-eyes principle

Qualifications

• University degree or completed commercial vocational training with a focus on customs, export control, or international trade
• Several years of professional experience in customs and export control within an industrial/manufacturing company
• Sound knowledge of the Union Customs Code (UCC) and German, European, and U.S. (re-)export control regulations
• Strong understanding of operational processes combined with analytical and process-oriented thinking
• Proven ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical and compliant operational solutions
• Advanced knowledge of SAP (ERP and GTS) and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent German and English language skills, along with willingness to travel internationally
• Strong team-oriented mindset and excellent teamwork skills
