Zusammenfassung

CS GROUP sucht eine/n Fachkraft für den Betrieb datengetriebener Systeme in Darmstadt. Sie unterstützen Datendienste, überwachen Systeme und arbeiten an Validierung und Automatisierung von Prozessen.

Zu den Aufgaben gehören die Inbetriebnahme, der Routinebetrieb, das Reporting von KPIs und die Koordination mit anderen Teams. Guter Abschluss in relevanten Fachrichtungen und Englischkenntnisse sind erforderlich.

Qualifikationen

• Abschluss in Informatik, Ingenieurwesen, Physik oder verwandter Fachrichtung.
• Erfahrung mit nahezu Echtzeit-, datengetriebenen Systemen.
• Gute Englischkenntnisse und Fähigkeit, in einem multikulturellen Team zu arbeiten.

Aufgaben

• Durchführung und Überwachung routinemäßiger Datenverarbeitungsabläufe, einschließlich Datenerfassung, Verarbeitung und Verteilung, sowie Untersuchung operativer Anomalien.
• Unterstützung des Betriebs in verschiedenen Missionsphasen, einschließlich Inbetriebnahme, Hochlauf und Routinebetrieb.
• Überwachung der Systemleistung und Erstellung operativer Statistiken, KPIs und Berichte.
• Beitrag zum Fehleranalyse-Management, Dokumentation und Lösung, Teilnahme an Review Boards und technischen Meetings.
• Entwicklung, Validierung und Wartung operativer Verfahren, Dokumentation und Werkzeuge.
• Beitrag zur Automatisierung und Verbesserung operativer Prozesse mit Skript- und Datenbanktechnologien.
• Unterstützung bei Validierungsaktivitäten, einschließlich Vorbereitung und Durchführung von Validierungs- und Testkampagnen.
• Bereitstellung von Betriebs- und Notfallunterstützung, auch Bereitschaftsdienste.
• Beitrag zur Operations-Vorbereitung und Koordination mit anderen technischen Teams und Stakeholdern.
• Bereitstellung technischer Expertise und Schulungen im Zusammenhang mit Datenverarbeitungsoperationen.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform and monitor routine data processing operations, including data ingestion, processing and distribution, and investigate and resolve operational anomalies.


• Support operations across different mission phases, including commissioning, ramp-up and routine operations.


• Monitor system performance and generate operational statistics, KPIs and reports.


• Contribute to anomaly management, investigation, documentation and resolution, including participation in relevant review boards and technical meetings.


• Develop, validate and maintain operational procedures, documentation and operational tools.


• Contribute to the automation and improvement of operational processes using scripting and database technologies.


• Support operational validation activities, including the preparation and execution of validation and test campaigns.


• Provide operational and contingency support, including on-call activities when required.


• Contribute to operations preparation and coordination with other technical teams and stakeholders.


• Provide technical expertise and training related to data processing operations.

Qualifikationen

Mandatory skills:

• University degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or a related technical discipline.


• Professional experience with near-real-time, data-driven and automated systems.


• Experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems.


• Experience developing and maintaining operational procedures and configuration data.


• Experience with operational validation, integration and verification of data processing systems.


• Knowledge of scripting and database technologies, such as Python, Shell and PostgreSQL.


• Knowledge of computer networks, IT systems and IT security.


• Experience with configuration management and change control.


• Knowledge of ECSS standards.


• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously and under pressure.


• Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team.

Additional skills considered an asset:

• Experience with Earth Observation or meteorological data processing.


• Experience validating complex remote sensing data processing systems.


• Knowledge of spacecraft and/or ground segment operations.


• Experience with instrument data and product processing, particularly Level-0 to Level-2 products.


• Programming experience in C, C++ or IDL.


• Knowledge of quality control, calibration and validation processes.
