Qualifikationen

Coordinator for Information Security (m/f/d)

The position can be based at our offices in Darmstadt, Giessen, Kassel or Fulda. This position is a full-time position, which is in principle divisible.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• You work continuously on the improvement and further development of the implemented ISMS in accordance with BSI standard 200-1
• You are the contact person in the company regarding information security and act as an interface to the ISB
• You update the information security concept and also create specific security concepts
• You organize and prepare audits (internal and external information security audits)
• You work on the risk treatment plan and support in obtaining decisions on risk treatment
• You carry out internal audits in the context of information security
• You represent the interests and requirements of information security in internal and external projects
• You process target group-specific alerts and security notices
  
  

The level of pay is based on a salary up to EG 12 TVöD (VKA) and will be subject to a final individual assessment and personal qualifications.

What you bring with you

• Successfully completed bachelor's degree in computer science or information security or comparable training with several years of professional experience
• Several years of professional experience in the IT environment
• Qualification as BSI IT-Grundschutz practitioner
• Experience in project management (agile methods)
• Willingness to undergo further training
• Good rhetorical and didactic skills, as well as commitment and ability to cooperate
• Independent, self-reliant work and a high level of comprehension
• Excellent knowledge of German (min. C2)

• Qualified auditor according to ISO27001 or equivalent
• IT incident expert or comparable
• Qualification in the field of business continuity management (according to BSI standard 200-4) or comparable
• Previous experience in the municipal environment of the public sector
