Mechanical Equipment Responsibilities
- Commissioning and installation checks of mechanical systems and plants.
- Coordinating the work of internal teams and external partners.
- Acceptance of systems in collaboration with shipping companies and classification societies.
- Monitoring deadlines with suppliers and trades.
- Ensuring quality standards in the areas supervised.
- Preparation and execution of warranty and repair work in coordination with the warranty representative.
- Supporting the project planning in collaboration with technical offices.
- Analyzing and correcting errors and optimizing production and operating processes.
- Obtaining and evaluating offers from service providers.
- Supervising apprentices and interns.
Minimum Requirements
- Completed training as an industrial mechanic, plant mechanic or comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in the field of commissioning and mechanics.
- Good knowledge of project and team coordination.
- Ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop solution strategies.
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
- Ability to work in a team, initiative and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
