Cook

Under the direct supervision of the building Principal and the Food Service Manager to assist in maintaining an orderly and safe atmosphere in the cafeteria and in accordance with Board policy and established district procedures.

Essential Functions

• Work at a fast pace environment and stand for long periods of time.
• Be a team player, work well with other coworkers and patience is a must.
• Be a self directed individual and have the ability to understand and follow directions.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. or more. Sweeping, mopping and cleaning.
• Adaptable to learning the State and Federal Requirements regarding the National Food Service Program and Sanitation.
• Be flexible and adapt to changes.
• Assists students as needed.
• Have the desire to make a positive impact to others and the students.

Additional Duties

• May run a cash register.
• Performs other related tasks as assigned.
