Controllers ensure that the firm meets all financial control and reporting obligations of a global, regulated, and public financial institution. They measure profitability and risks, ensure compliance with regulations, safeguard assets, and support the firm’s financial integrity and efficiency. The Controllers team interacts with various parts of the firm, including hedge funds and private equity, providing oversight and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Your Role

The Vice President in New Activity will lead efforts in identifying, analyzing, and implementing new products and activities, focusing on the first and second lines of defense. This role involves understanding various products traded by the firm and ensuring compliance with German, EU, and global regulations.

• Coordinate analysis for new product and activity introductions between the 1LoD and 2LoD.
• Understand new products and identify structural and implementation issues, including trading, risk monitoring, pricing, booking, settlement, and compliance.
• Develop procedures for transaction processing and monitoring in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Document business justifications and present analyses to senior management for approval.
