Qualifikationen

We are currently looking for a Controller NSC (m/f/d) / Business Controller (m/f/d) for our Eurofins Finance Transactions Germany GmbH in Hamburg-Harburg.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of annual planning and interim forecasts for the NSC cost centers
• Monitoring and analysis of financial data (P&L and balance sheet) as well as support of the managing director and business unit manager with ad hoc inquiries
• Support our monthly closing activities, in particular the preparation of financial statements (according to IFRS and HGB) and reports on budget deviations for the NSC
• Monthly local and global reporting as well as proactive management of all relevant operational KPIs, in particular deviation analyses between actual / budget / forecast of costs and corresponding cost drivers
• Calculation and controlling of NSC service fees
• Support of the HGB individual financial statements of the NSC companies and main contact for the auditors
• Support with cross-functional projects; independent implementation of cross-functional projects in the area of reporting and controlling processes
• Ensuring compliance with internal and external guidelines (compliance)

Qualifications:

• Successfully completed business studies (ideally with a focus on accounting), or relevant commercial training with many years of professional experience
• Several years of relevant professional experience with corresponding skills and experience in accounting or financial controlling
• Experience in a global environment with corresponding reporting knowledge to the parent company is an advantage
• Very good knowledge of accounting (HGB/IFRS)
• Very analytical and structured approach; ability to quickly familiarize with new areas, ability to think abstractly and at the same time enthusiasm for details
• Reliability, communication skills, process-oriented and cross-functional perspective
• High level of self-motivation and commitment as well as creativity in problem solving
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX and IBM Cognos is an advantage
• Very good German and conversational English skills
