Zusammenfassung

Buying Labs, located in Hamburg, seeks a Controller (m/f/d) to join its growing Controlling team. You will drive liquidity planning, oversee cash management, and shape treasury processes while implementing AI-based tools and scenario analyses for FX movements.

A hands-on, cross-functional role with strong Excel/ERP experience awaits. You will work closely with departments to support day-to-day operations and contribute to optimizing working capital.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable qualification focusing on Controlling, Finance, or Treasury.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in Finance or Treasury Controlling.
• In-depth knowledge of liquidity planning, cash management, and treasury processes.
• Experience in analyzing and managing foreign exchange risks.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets, complemented by experience with ERP systems.
• Strong hands-on mentality, structured working style, and strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Business fluency in German and very good English.

• Identify optimization potentials and define measures to reduce capital commitment and improve working capital management.

Your Mission

• You take responsibility for the further development of a comprehensive model for operational liquidity planning and management (short-, medium- and long-term).
• You are in charge of managing and monitoring cash management, including daily disposition, payment flows and forecast deviation analyses.
• You contribute to the selection, implementation and further development of an AI-based tool for liquidity and cashflow planning.
• You develop scenario analyses for exchange rate developments (USD/EUR) and derive recommendations for action for Treasury.
• You identify optimization potentials and define measures to reduce capital commitment and improve working capital management.
• You work closely with the departments and support the operational day-to-day business.

Your Profile

• Successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable qualification with a focus on Controlling, Finance, or Treasury
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in Finance or Treasury Controlling
• In-depth knowledge of liquidity planning, cash management, and treasury processes
• Experience in analyzing and managing foreign exchange risks
