Qualifikationen

• Diplôme universitaire en finance ou domaine connexe requis.
• Expérience pertinente de 3 ans minimum dans une entreprise SaaS souhaitée.
• Compétences en Excel et outils de BI appréciées.

Aufgaben

• Préparer les budgets annuels et les prévisions mensuelles/trimestrielles.

What we are looking for

At YogaEasy, the Controller is much more than a traditional financial role. You’ll act as a key sparring partner to management, providing data-driven insights and helping shape business strategy. With a strong understanding of digital business models and subscription metrics, you’ll support our financial operations both domestically and across borders. Every day we experience that practicing yoga, mindfulness and meditation helps to find more joy in life and to feel better physically and mentally. We work on this as a whole company and constantly improve our offer in the online yoga studio and in the academy.

As a growing company with currently 50 employees, we are looking for a committed Controller (m/f/d) to start in October 2025 or sooner.

As part of the team you bring in your expertise to the table while having a good and pragmatic understanding of business decisions. The position is permanent and part-time with 20 hours per week. You must be based in Hamburg but remote work is partly possible.

What you bring to the table

• Fluent in German and English (C1 or above)
• University degree in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience, ideally in a SaaS or subscription-based company
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, reporting, and KPI tracking
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills; experience with BI tools is a plus
• Efficient, structured, and proactive in communication
• Comfortable collaborating across teams and working in an international context
• Constructively critical and analytically strong
• Resilient and calm—even in dynamic situations
• Flexible in your approach and adaptable to change

You will

• Prepare annual budgets and monthly/quarterly forecasts, including variance and scenario analysis
• Monitor and manage cash flows, including cross-border payments
• Create and analysis monthly management reports covering key financial and operational KPIs
• Support group reporting and consolidation, including HGB compliance
• Analyze subscription metrics: churn, retention, customer cohorts, trial-to-paid conversion rates
• Perform regular cost centre reporting as well as contribution margin analysis and go for automation
• Conduct profitability and scenario analyses for new initiatives, products, markets, or expansions
• Support fundraising and investor reporting as needed
• Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial statements (HGB) Implement and manage a new BI and financial planning tool
• Optimize and develop existing Controlling content, processes and tools
