As the Inventory & Scrapping Controller, you will support the TechOps organization in achieving milestones in inventory optimization, which is a key component of the Capital Efficiency Program. In this role, you will provide high-quality data and insights to aid the decision-making process. You will manage all financial aspects concerning inventory and scrapping from a global perspective, assisting the Global Supply Chain department and the manufacturing site network. This position reports to the Head of TechOps Supply Chain Controlling.

Your assignments

• Develop and enhance global inventory planning processes, including an accurate Inventory Projection Model.

• Set inventory and scrapping targets for sites and organizations in alignment with company goals.

• Deliver high-quality analysis to identify root causes and propose corrective actions for inventory deviations.

• Design and maintain robust scrapping processes, including approvals, root cause analysis, and corrective measures.

• Support TechOps teams in identifying and tracking improvement initiatives related to inventory and scrapping.

• Coordinate central IOS reporting for TechOps.

• Contribute to global projects and ad hoc analyses focusing on inventory and scrapping optimization.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance & Controlling, Economics, or related field

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in controlling, ideally in a plant or supply chain environment

• Hands-on experience in inventory management or optimization

• Strong IT skills, particularly expertise with SAP FI/CO and SAP BW

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in German is an advantage

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a dynamic, international environment
