Role Overview

The Controller will play a key role in maintaining and developing reporting and key performance systems in sales and financial controlling. The position involves detailed analysis of profitability, cost monitoring, planning support, and cross-departmental collaboration to improve business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and further develop the internal reporting and key figure systems in sales and financial controlling.

Analyze customer profitability and product assortment structure.

Monitor cost areas in sales, marketing, and administration.

Prepare budgets, forecasts, and profitability analyses.

Compile and analyze monthly reports.

Oversee reporting for affiliated companies.

Conduct ad-hoc analyses and special evaluations.

Advise and support internal stakeholders on financial and business management topics.

Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Degree in Business Administration, ideally with a focus on Controlling, or completed commercial apprenticeship with further relevant training.

Professional experience in sales or financial controlling, preferably in the FMCG sector.

Strong technical understanding of products and manufacturing processes.

Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.

Strong numerical and analytical thinking with a process-oriented mindset.

Demonstrated assertiveness, initiative, and strong communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly in a team environment.

In-depth knowledge of SAP R/3 or S/4HANA.

Experience with Power BI is a plus.
