Jobtailor in Germany seeks an experienced Finance and Controlling leader to drive business operations, optimize KPIs, and ensure accurate financial reporting.

You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, liquidity planning, and lead a five-person finance team, coordinating with management and corporate headquarters to implement improvements and ensure compliance.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in business administration or related field.

• Initial leadership experience is desirable.
• Strong SAP FI/CO knowledge; MIRAS/Hyperion advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Manage business operations and optimize KPIs.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, forecasts, budgets, reports, liquidity plans, and investment plans.
• Manage purchase requisitions, cash flow, and payments, including accounts payable and payroll; draft and manage contracts.
• Ensure smooth commercial processes in close coordination with management, analyze opportunities for optimization, and implement improvements with employees.
• Lead, motivate, and develop five employees in Finance and Office Management.
• Report to local management and the corporate headquarters, serving as a sparring partner to the management team.
• Act as the point of contact for compliance matters and external stakeholders, including auditors, lawyers, and tax advisors, and serve as a member of the local management team.

Requirements

• Successfully completed degree in business administration or a related commercial field, ideally with a focus on Finance or Controlling


• Substantial professional experience in Controlling or Finance


• Initial leadership experience is desirable


• Strong knowledge of Finance, Controlling, and SAP (FI/CO); initial experience with MIRAS/Hyperion is an advantage


• Experience preparing and compiling annual financial statements


• Professional and customer-oriented manner, excellent communication and presentation skills, commitment, and strong interpersonal skills


• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to stay focused on objectives, combined with a hands‑on mentality and a strong affinity for digital processes


• Good command of German and English, along with confident use of standard MS Office applications
