Jobbeschreibung

Job Responsibilities:

• Creating PLC projects and programming according to engineering documents, and commissioning control panels in the workshop.
• Testing project control system hardware and software.
• Attending and conducting customer acceptance tests worldwide, including Modbus communication tests with customer control systems.
• Verifying and implementing control engineering project specifications.
• Reviewing client specifications for PLC, I/O, Cyber Security, etc.
• Creating PLC hardware and software bill of materials.
• Implementing and reviewing project documents such as Network Diagrams and Logic Diagrams.
• Meeting project schedules and budgets, supporting remote commissioning of compressor trains, and preparing customer proposals.

Qualifications:

• University degree in Automation, Instrumentation, Controls, Electrotechnical Engineering, or similar.
• Over 5 years of experience in control theory and PLC programming, including PCS7 V9.1 and/or RSLogix 5000 software.
• Ability to develop embedded applications in higher programming languages and plan PLC projects.
• Industry knowledge of turbomachinery and/or oil and gas applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in English; German language skills are a plus.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to four times a year, with each trip lasting approximately one week.
