Job Responsibilities:
- Creating PLC projects and programming according to engineering documents, and commissioning control panels in the workshop.
- Testing project control system hardware and software.
- Attending and conducting customer acceptance tests worldwide, including Modbus communication tests with customer control systems.
- Verifying and implementing control engineering project specifications.
- Reviewing client specifications for PLC, I/O, Cyber Security, etc.
- Creating PLC hardware and software bill of materials.
- Implementing and reviewing project documents such as Network Diagrams and Logic Diagrams.
- Meeting project schedules and budgets, supporting remote commissioning of compressor trains, and preparing customer proposals.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Automation, Instrumentation, Controls, Electrotechnical Engineering, or similar.
- Over 5 years of experience in control theory and PLC programming, including PCS7 V9.1 and/or RSLogix 5000 software.
- Ability to develop embedded applications in higher programming languages and plan PLC projects.
- Industry knowledge of turbomachinery and/or oil and gas applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in English; German language skills are a plus.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to four times a year, with each trip lasting approximately one week.
