Job Description:

What to expect:

1. Creating PLC project and programming according to engineering documents and commissioning of control panels in workshop
2. Testing project control system hardware and software
3. Attending and conducting customer acceptance tests worldwide as well as Modbus communication tests with customer control systems
4. Verifying and implementing controls engineering project specifications
5. Reviewing client specifications for PLC, I/O, Cyber Security, etc.
6. Creating PLC hardware and software list of material
7. Implementing and reviewing project documents like Network Diagram, Logic Diagram, etc.
8. Meeting project schedule and budget, supporting remote commissioning of compressor train, and creating proposal engineering for customer offers

What you bring along:

1. University degree in Automation/Instrumentation/Controls/Electrotechnical Engineering or similar
2. Over 5 years of knowledge of control theory and PLC programming, including PCS7 V9.1 and/or RSLogix 5000 software
3. Ability to write embedded applications in higher programming languages and plan PLC projects
4. Industry knowledge of turbomachinery and/or oil and gas applications
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including proficiency in English; German is preferred
6. Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to four times a year, each trip lasting one week
