Contract Manufacturing / CMO Manager (all genders)

Your role

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic CMO / Contract Manufacturing Organization Manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll be a key player in establishing and managing efficient, sustainable partnerships with our production partners to help meet the growing demand for high-quality products. Responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with key production partners, ensuring efficient, sustainable, and long-term cooperation
• Develop and implement processes to optimize production to improve efficiency, and support increasing demand for quality and quantity
• Identify, qualify, and onboard new and innovative manufacturers while managing tenders, contract negotiations, and pricing agreements
• Establish reliable forecasting and reporting systems to monitor production orders, track progress, and identify opportunities for improvement
• Advise internal teams on external partnerships, supporting projects, and driving the introduction of new markets, products, and technologies

Your profile

• A strong understanding of technology, production processes, and product interconnections
• Experience in planning, purchasing, and/or production, ideally within the food industry
• Knowledge of managing external manufacturing and 3rd-party production
• Analytical mindset with decisive, action-oriented skills
• Fluency in English and exceptional negotiation abilities with a proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong partnerships
• Required weekly office presence at our Berlin office – with additional willingness to travel within Europe approximately once a month
