Tasks
- Negotiating customer-related product adjustments, taking into account the time and commercial framework conditions of the aircraft program
- Support in procurement activities, offer management and contract negotiations to ensure optimal purchasing conditions
- Contract monitoring over the entire life cycle (innovation, development, series production, support) in close coordination with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with contractual framework conditions and monitoring supplier performance (quality, logistics, costs, support)
- Operational supplier management and active risk reduction to increase customer benefit and minimize total cost of ownership
- Collaboration in interdisciplinary project teams during tendering and awarding processes
- Participation in projects to optimize purchasing and contract processes
Requirements
- Completed Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, business administration or international management
- Several years of professional experience in purchasing, supplier management, supply chain / logistics or contract management
- Experience in the aviation industry, especially with Airbus, is an advantage
- First application knowledge in SAP required, experience with Google Workspace an advantage
- Business fluent in English (at least C1) required, knowledge of German is desirable
- Willingness to travel occasionally (1-4 times per year)
- Existing, unrestricted work permit for the EU (no student visa) is mandatory
