Qualifikationen

Shape the Future of Sustainable Energy with Vestas: Join Our Expert Contract Management Team!

The Customer & Contract Management department plays a critical role in the Service Offshore department of Vestas Northern & Central Europe (NCE). The department is responsible for ensuring a high-quality customer experience and professional contract management.

Responsibilities
  1. Support the Service team through interpretation of the contract in terms of scope, obligations, rights and remedies and provide summaries thereto.
  2. Review incoming communications from the customer/contractors and, in coordination with the Service team, draft routine notices, submissions, and communications to be submitted in accordance with the contract.
  3. Maintain and supervise an overview of claims, and coordinate evaluation and resolution of such claims with other departments.
  4. Support negotiation and drafting of settlement agreements to optimize the resolution of disputes under the relevant contracts.
  5. Support the Service team and work closely with the Vestas Legal department.
Qualifications
  1. Demonstrated contract and claims management experience with in-depth knowledge of preparing claim correspondence in connection with defect/warranty claims, cost claims, and extension of time claims.
  2. Significant experience in wind or heavy construction industries, ideally as a contract & claims manager.
  3. Commercial awareness and practice.
  4. Broad knowledge of the types and structure of contracts in the construction and energy industries (e.g., FIDIC).
  5. Professional qualifications (i.e. RICS) or relevant academic qualifications (i.e. legal qualifications related to construction industry) desirable.
  6. Solid negotiation and communication skills.
  7. Attention to detail and significant organization skills.
  8. Independent person, able to organize own workload with minimal supervision.
  9. Effective collaboration within a geographically widespread group.
  10. Accurate and pragmatic approach to contract management and enforcement.
  11. Positive attitude and genuine interest in process improvements.
  12. Fluent in written and spoken English in business and legal environments.

Additional information

The primary work location can be Hamburg or Berlin in Germany, Aarhus or Copenhagen in Denmark, Edinburgh in UK or Oostende in Belgium.

In this role you will report directly to the Senior Manager Contract Management.
