Job summary

Vallum Associates is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to oversee commercial and contractual obligations across the project lifecycle, from award to close-out, within energy and EPC contexts. You will protect the company's commercial position, manage claims and variations, and interface with the OEM.

Applicants should have 8+ years of contract management on major EPC or energy projects, fluent in German law frameworks (BGB, VOB) and English-law contracts, with a degree in QS, Engineering,

Qualifications

• Must be commercially astute with strong negotiation abilities.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills with high integrity.
• Experience with EPC or energy projects and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Administer the main E&C contract as it relates to the OEM deliverables.
• Manage variations, change orders, and extension of time / additional cost claims
• Monitor commercial performance, budget, and cash flow; prepare monthly reports
• Support subcontract procurement and manage payment applications
• Manage dispute resolution and liaise with legal counsel as required
• 8+ years' contract management on major EPC or energy projects
• Proven FIDIC (Silver/Yellow/Gold) or NEC contract experience
• Strong track record in claims preparation and negotiation
• Knowledge of German law (BGB, VOB) and English-law contracts
• Degree in QS, Engineering, Law, or Business
