Job Description:

EU AMXL Operations team is seeking a 3PL / Contract Logistics Manager to oversee and manage the Germany AMXL 3PFC team. The role involves responsibility for a segment of the 3PL operations in Demand, reporting to the MEU Manager 3PL for AMXL in Europe.

The position requires interfacing with Retail, Supply Chain, Transportation Teams, and external/internal Fulfillment Operations partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and control quality, performance, cost, and capacity of the external fulfillment provider (3PL).
• Lead major projects within the EU AMXL Fulfillment Operations, Supply Chain, and Transportation teams to support business growth and selection.
• Monitor and analyze customer experience and delivery performance.
• Maintain and develop KPIs and SLAs with 3PL/carriers through daily management.
• Contribute to process improvements and cost optimization initiatives collaboratively across teams.
• Drive contract negotiations and ramp-ups of new external fulfillment partners.

About the Team:

Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) handles heavy items like furniture and large appliances, managing the entire service from supply chain to delivery and returns. The service emphasizes customer care, including unpacking, assembly, installation, and old item removal. The team focuses on safety, productivity, and innovation, aiming to improve how customers buy and receive large goods.

We plan to expand our fulfillment centers and delivery stations across the UK and Europe. Most team members work during the day, with some night shifts in delivery stations. The team comprises operations, supply chain, business intelligence, and program management professionals, all vital to our growth.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Proven track record of delivering projects within scope, time, budget, and quality.
• Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret data and draw conclusions.
• Technical expertise with a solution-driven approach to systems and processes.
• Fluent in German and English; other languages are desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s, Diploma Degree, or MBA preferred.
• Proficiency in analytical tools such as Data-warehouse tables, SQL, and Visual Basic.
