Job Responsibilities

1. Handling claim and contract management, including strategic considerations.
2. Advising project / construction management regarding additional demands or claim defense.
3. Performing contractual analyses and providing consulting services.
4. Ensuring contract-related documentation compliance.
5. Coordinating with all relevant stakeholders.
6. Collaborating closely with internal construction law specialists using an integrated consulting approach throughout all project phases.
7. Supporting construction sites on location.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture, or a comparable field; specialization in construction management and construction economics is an advantage.
• Relevant professional experience as a claims and change order manager in international project management.
• Profound professional experience and expertise in construction management, construction contract law, construction scheduling, and cost estimation, e.g., as a site manager or in an engineering consultancy.
• Solid experience with international contract law (e.g., FIDIC, Anglo-American law).
• Proficient in MS Office, iTWO, and scheduling software.
• Fluent English skills, both written and spoken.
• Strong teamwork skills within an integrated, interdisciplinary work environment, combined with a confident demeanor.
• Excellent communication skills, assertiveness, and negotiation abilities.
