Job summary

8returns is seeking a content lead who will own our content across channels. You’ll craft videos, manage LinkedIn, and write newsletters in German, collaborating directly with the founders.

You’ll create content for product launches, work with Sales and Customer Success, and iteratively improve formats based on performance data. Remote work is available with regular team meetups.

Qualifications

• Native-level German, written and spoken; fluent English.
• 1–3 years of experience in content, social media or marketing.
• You've built an audience or grown an account before.
• High agency: you see what needs doing and get it done without being asked.
• You write well and know what good content looks like.
• You can film and edit a video yourself and are comfortable on camera.
• You know LinkedIn and short-form video well.
• You use AI tools in your daily work.

Responsibilities

• Make short videos: explainers, customer stories and a look at how we work.
• Run our company LinkedIn and help the founders post on their own profiles.
• Write our newsletter and grow its readership.
• Plan and create content for product launches and new features with Product.
• Talk to Sales and Customer Success to find topics and turn conversations into content.
• Come up with repeatable formats and post regularly.
• Analyze metrics and adjust content strategy accordingly.

About 8returns

Every online shop has returns. Most treat them as a cost. We help brands turn them into a better customer experience, more exchanges instead of refunds, and less work for their teams.

400+ brands run their returns on 8returns, including Tommy Hilfiger, Reebok, Fielmann and OACE. We're a small team in Berlin where everyone owns their projects end to end, with few meetings, short decision paths and direct feedback.

The role

You'll be the first person at 8returns who works on content full-time. You'll own our content across all channels, from LinkedIn and video to the website and product launches. Most of it will be in German, and you'll work directly with the founders.

What you'll do

• Make short videos: explainers, customer stories and a look at how we work.

• Run our company LinkedIn and help the founders post on their own profiles.

• Write our newsletter and grow its readership.

• Plan and create the content for product launches and new features, together with Product.

• Talk to Sales and Customer Success to find topics, and turn customer conversations into content.

• Come up with formats you can repeat, and post regularly.

• Look at the numbers to see what works, and change course when something doesn't.

What you bring

• Native-level German, written and spoken. You'll write most of our content in German. Fluent English on top.

• 1–3 years of experience in content, social media or marketing.

• You've built an audience or grown an account before. It doesn't have to be a huge one.

• High agency: you see what needs doing and get it done without being asked.
