UFS Consumer & Market Insight Manager DACH (d/f/m)

JOB PURPOSE

The Consumer & Market Insight Manager (CMI) Unilever Food Solutions (UFS) DACH & Future Growth Opportunities EU Lead is a new, hybrid role that will deliver multi-stakeholder insights to provoke growth for UFS in DACH, as well as partner the marketing team in the space of future growth opportunities.

The main purpose of the role is to lead the insights and operator’s centricity program via Digital, AI and traditional research projects, ensuring insights into action that drive business results. You will be expected to fully leverage the power of existing and new information into effective business action both for the local strategic understanding program as well as provide input into their assigned cluster organization.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

  1. Business partner the DACH marketing and Innovation & Portfolio EU team to unlock competitive growth & transform the Portfolio.
  2. Be the owner of the end-to-end research process: from detecting the business question, build the research brief and manage the project to secure impact of results in the business.
  3. Be the main point of contact and knowledge holder for actionable consumer, customer and Omni-channel insights leveraging the digital data that UFS already has (digital e-panel, AI tools) and mapping the white spaces to develop new tools that address business questions.
  4. Sit in the DACH local leadership teams and in Portfolio & Innovation EU, as well as the UFS CMI leadership team to help shape and drive a common agenda, share best practices, and HACK ideas in the region.
  5. Design and Lead the Digital, Analytics and Growth Transformation Agenda to future fit how CMI in the region uses data and analytics to steer growth.
  6. Develop and Use AI solutions for the end-to-end research process: from insight generation to communication and pack evaluation and post launch optimization and insight generation.
  7. End to End management of the DIGITAL e-panel for DACH and contribute to the evolution of it with new and disruptive methodologies to make it future fit and Design and execute the annual strategic learning plan for DACH and for Future Growth Opps at European level.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

  • 7+ years’ experience in core /fundamental Consumer, Market Research or Analytics roles or similar function, with mastery of the market research landscape of tools across qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
  • 3+ years relevant leading experience in a digital and social first research methodologies, applied analytics and data driven oriented role is a MUST. In depth understanding of the digital ecosystem (including digital selling, social media content development, optimization and measurement) and proven leadership of research projects in this area.
  • Experience in B2B research, Digital Marketing, Digital Selling selling and EComm research is highly preferred.
  • Significant experience in modern innovation practices (Agile, Lean, Growth hacking and Rapid Experimentation); as well as working effectively in cross functional teams.
  • Ability to manage and influence a large and complex set of stakeholders & hold others accountable.
  • Operational efficiency in Power BI, Dataiku, or other comparable tools and ability to extrapolate, process and analyze raw data from structured databases is an advantage.
  • Fluent German and English skills.
