As a Consulting Solution Area Specialist (Specialist Seller for Azure), you will accelerate your career and deepen your expertise by driving digital transformation deals with automotive sector clients, aiming to achieve business outcomes aligned with Microsoft and customer goals. You will lead the consulting sales team for Azure opportunities, leveraging the broader Industry Solutions Organization, and build relationships with customers, influencing cloud strategy and acting as a trusted advisor at the CXO level.

Responsibilities

The Microsoft Industry Solutions Consulting Solution Area Specialist is responsible for:

  • Demonstrating customer and partner obsession by focusing on customer business outcomes using your solution area expertise.
  • Building executive relationships to generate excitement about Microsoft Industry Solutions’ value and influence cloud strategic direction.
  • Creating business cases, leading deal orchestration, leveraging programs and offers to close deals, and displacing competitors.
  • Providing impactful points of view to accelerate consumption aligned with solution expertise in account planning.
  • Driving cloud growth by collaborating with the wider account team and strengthening relationships to promote consumption through projects and programs.
  • Championing Microsoft processes and methodologies, managing opportunities, maintaining pipeline hygiene, and ensuring deal closure and revenue growth.
  • Continuously developing sales, industry, and solution knowledge, and investing in personal growth.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Solution sales experience with expertise in Data & AI, Cloud Applications, Microsoft Azure, or other public cloud platforms, including IaaS and PaaS, and their business impact.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Fluency in German and English is mandatory.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Additional Qualifications

  • Industry sales experience in the Automotive sector or related services.
  • Deep understanding of consulting, advisory, and sales methodologies.
