ZEISS Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology enables the production of smaller, more powerful, and energy-efficient microchips, with about 80% of all chips worldwide manufactured using ZEISS technologies. Our high-precision lithography optics, photomask systems, and process control solutions are integral to the age of micro- and nanoelectronics.

Responsibilities
  1. Analyze hardware and software errors and disturbances, identify error patterns and influencing factors, implement corrective actions, and document or escalate to 3rd-level support.
  2. Advise, support, and train users and specialist departments using existing Manufacturing IT solutions.
  3. Install, configure, and operate IT systems in manufacturing, coordinating necessary preparatory work.
  4. Communicate effectively during troubleshooting and service requests, maintaining a professional and respectful tone.
  5. Maintain and expand databases containing information about IT systems.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Completed vocational training as an IT specialist in system integration or a comparable IT certification.
  • Proven experience of at least 3 years in the specified tasks.
  • Knowledge in Windows, x86 hardware, networking, Active Directory, Acronis Backup, Linux.
  • Customer and service-oriented mindset.
  • High self-motivation, flexibility, and team engagement.
  • Willingness to adapt working hours to operational needs.
  • Excellent German and English language skills.
