Job summary

Siemens Advanta is seeking a Consultant (f/m/d) in AI & New Technologies to translate complex operational needs into scalable AI solutions. You will design, implement, and deploy GenAI-powered systems, collaborating with consultants and clients to advance AI strategies across OT/IT environments.

The role requires a strong technical background in data science, machine learning, and data engineering, with international exposure and a passion for innovation in the industrial sector.

Qualifications

• Academic excellence: Master’s/PhD in CS/Math/Physics with data science specialization.
• 2 internships in consultancy (tech/strategy) in tech/industrial firms or start-ups.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on cross-functional & client projects: Work hand-in-hand with consultants, domain experts, and clients to translating complex operational requirements into tangible project approaches and technical solutions.
• Solve business problems with state of the art technology: Design and implement agentic systems, architect complex technical solutions, leverage AI and foundational models & multi-agent frameworks to directly advance our customers’ AI strategy and processes.
• Bridge Technology and Business: Develop production‑grade code and implement AI solutions, collaborating with developers to program reliable, scalable features across integrated OT & IT environments and enterprise architectures in the context of business process, system, stakeholder and organizational constraints.
• Communicate across all seniority levels: Present and communicate technical results and strategic impacts to stakeholders of all levels, from top management to plant operators and end users.
• Drive innovation & thought leadership: Act as a key innovator in our practice by prototyping novel solutions that demonstrate the transformative power of agentic and AI technologies.

This is how you'll win us over

• Academic Excellence: Outstanding academic degree (Master’s/Diploma/PhD) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields, complemented by a strong specialization in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Data Engineering.
• Consulting & Practical Experience: Minimum 2 internships in a consultancy (tech/strategy), renowned tech or industrial companies, or start-ups and a proven track record of excellence in consulting with data and AI in relevant domains. Experience at the intersection of technology and client advisory is a big plus.
• Technical Hard-Skills: Strong experience in building and deploying GenAI applications and hands‑on familiarity with one or more agentic AI frameworks (e.g., Google ADK, OpenAI Agents SDK, Claude Agents SDK). Proficiency in Python for AI development, Cloud Platform expertise (Azure, incl. Microsoft Foundry), and knowledge of Data Warehousing & Engineering (Snowflake & dbt).
• Domain & Architecture: Initial hands‑on experience with AI applied to business or industrial data (e.g., time series, process optimization, document intelligence) and exposure to IT/OT architecture or industrial standards.
• Global Entrepreneurial Mindset: International exposure gained through studies, internships, or work experience abroad and a strong willingness to contribute in shaping and growing a team and business.
