Site Supervisor, Green Steel Project

About the Project

We are supporting one of Europe’s most innovative Green Steel transformation projects, part of a major industrial decarbonization initiative integrating hydrogen technology, electric arc furnaces, and sustainable infrastructure.

As a Site Supervisor, you will play a key role in managing on-site execution, ensuring the highest standards in safety, quality, and productivity across all stages of construction and installation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise and coordinate site construction activities and subcontractors
2. Ensure full compliance with HSE regulations and safety procedures
3. Track progress against project plans and technical specifications
4. Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks, and site inspections
5. Resolve on-site issues in coordination with engineering and project teams
6. Maintain accurate records, reports, and site documentation
7. Manage material handling, work permits, and logistics coordination

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Site Supervisor on industrial or infrastructure projects
• Expertise in mechanical, structural, piping, or steel construction
• Business fluent minimum German – this is a German-speaking site
• Familiar with German construction standards and HSE requirements
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
• EU work permit or eligibility to work in Germany

Qualifications

• Background in green steel, hydrogen, energy, or heavy industry projects
• Experience working on EPC sites or with Tier 1 contractors
• Familiarity with site planning and reporting tools
