The ideal candidate has a university degree, at least 5 years of relevant experience mainly on Contractor side, and strong IT and interpersonal skills. This role plays a key part in the successful modernization of industrial projects.

Qualifikationen

• Proven past experience on Civil and Building construction activities.
• At least 5 years of experience in the specific discipline.
• Experience working on Contractor side.

Aufgaben

• Prepare the Subcontractor’s accounts in accordance with the subcontract.
• Check that the accounts prepared by the Subcontractor align with contractual clauses.
• Verify that all accounting documents have been duly approved.

Aboutthe project/Role description

Theproject is planning the expansion of the existing Hamburg Refinery, by addingthe following process units and facilities: HVO Unit, pre-treatment Unit,tank farm balance (tanks partially supplied by others), interconnectinglines, new electrical substation and rack room, interconnecting cablesbetween new substation building and existing substation and control room.

Hereports to the Site Contract Administrator. He is responsible for entering,in the specific Data Base, the works performed by Subcontractors and fordetecting, both before and after, any deviation from expected quantities.

Dutiesand responsibilities

• To prepare theSubcontractor’s accounts in accordance with the subcontract;
• To check that theaccounts prepared by the Subcontractor are in line with contractualclauses, with Project documents and have been approved by the DisciplineSupervisors;
• To verify and check thatall accounting documents have been duly approved and are accompaniedwhere necessary by explanatory drawings and sketches;
• To collect estimatedquantities to completion and prepare the cost control tabulations.

Knowledge& Qualifications

• University Degree orDiploma in relevant discipline or equivalent

Experience

• Similar role covered atleast in last three projects of comparable size;
• Proven past experience onCivil and Building construction activities;
• Relevant experience inconstruction/modernisation of industrial/Refinery sector/EPC projectslarge plants;
• At least 5 years ofexperience in the specific discipline;
• Experience working onContractor side.
