Exyte is seeking a Construction Director (m/f/d) for complex EPC projects in the Data Center and high-tech industries in Germany. You will lead large site teams, manage all construction activities and drive project success with strategic vision and operational excellence.

Ideal candidates have extensive EPC construction management experience in biopharma or life sciences, fluent German and strong English, and willingness to travel and stay on site for extended periods.

• Completed studies in construction engineering/management or architecture.
• Several years in EPC construction management within biopharma or life sciences.
• Fluent German and strong English skills.
• Knowledge of construction sequences and methods.
• Proven project delivery in a large organization.
• Willing to travel and stay on site for extended periods.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee overall construction performance on large EPC projects, incl. EHS, finances, schedule, and quality.
• Lead the on-site construction team and manage subcontractor meetings and team motivation.
• Develop and implement the construction execution plan with sequences and schedules.
• Establish and monitor KPIs; ensure compliance with procedures and standards.
• Maintain strong client communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Report status to management and contribute to risk identification and mitigation.

For our projects in the Frankfurt, Dresden area and other locations across Germany, you will take full responsibility as Construction Director (m/f/d) for the execution of complex EPC projects in the Data Center and high-tech industries.

You will lead large site teams, manage all construction activities, and drive project success with both strategic vision and operational excellence.

Explore Your Tasks And Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall construction performance on large EPC projects in the biopharma and life sciences industry, covering EHS, financials, schedule, and quality.
• Lead the Exyte construction team on site, including managing subcontractor meetings and motivating internal and external project team members.
• Develop and implement the construction execution plan, including defining construction sequences and schedules at project start.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to measure on-site construction performance, ensuring compliance with corporate procedures and standards.
• Maintain strong client communication and relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Report construction status to company management and actively contribute to risk identification and mitigation planning.

Show Your Expertise

• Successfully completed studies in the field of construction engineering or management, architecture or similar
• Several years of experience in related industries (biopharma, life sciences) and EPC construction management experience
• Fluent German skills, very good English skills
• Detailed knowledge of construction sequences and construction methodologies
• Track record of successful project delivery within a large organization
• Willingness and ability to travel and stay on site for a longer period
