For the position of Configuration Management Engineer in Aviation at our client Diehl Aerospace GmbH in Frankfurt at Main, we are looking for someone who can quickly familiarizethemselves with new and complex topics, who works in a structured, accurate and goal-oriented manner and communicates proactively. The gross annual salary is between €59,300 and a maximum of €61,200, depending on qualifications. Please note that we can only consider candidates who have a valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU (not a student visa).

Tasks

• Responsibility for configuration and data management across all phases of the product life cycle
• Implementation of configuration identification and planning, including mapping in ERP and PLM systems
• Control of configuration control and change management as well as monitoring of configuration processes
• Support with customer reviews and external and internal audits in the area of configuration management
• Further development and optimizationof configuration management processes
• Participation in the selection, introduction and integration of suitable tools for configuration and data management
• Creation of practical training documents
• Conducting training courses for employees and project participants

Requirements

• Completed studies in engineering, aerospace, mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in configuration management, engineering, design, development or product development
• Sound knowledge of process management and enjoy actively designing and optimizingprocesses
• Confident handling of MS Office and practical experience with ERP, PDM or PLM systems — ideally SAP
• Business fluent in German and English, at least C1 level
• Structured, solution-orientated way of working and a high level of personal responsibility
• Valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU
