The

intends, at the earliest possible date

for the Office for Information and Communication Technology

a computer scientist (m/f/d) as administrator for the document management system (DMS)

for an indefinite period of time.

The Office for Information and Communication Technology is the internal IT service provider for the district administration. The users include the employees of the approx. 32 organizational units spread over approx. 10 locations. The Office for Information and Communication Technology provides the application systems that are necessary for the fulfillment of the tasks of the district administration. In the DMS team, you will be responsible for providing the document management system (DMS).

This is a permanent full-time position with a weekly working time of 39 or 40 hours per week, which is generally suitable for part-time work. The tasks are evaluated according to pay group 11 TVöD or Bes.-Gr. A 11 NBesG. In the event of a direct transfer from the civil service, it may be possible to take into account the current step allocation and step duration. Applicants who meet the relevant requirements may also be considered for employment as a civil servant (possibly by secondment with the aim of transfer).

It may be possible to grant a higher salary payment than that generally provided for in the TVöD upon recruitment.

Your Tasks

  • As part of the DMS team, you will play an important role in the implementation of digitization at the district of Hildesheim and work closely with the individual organizational units.
  • You are responsible for the configuration, maintenance and further development of the DMS.
  • You are responsible for the administration of both the systems and the applications of the DMS.
  • For new DMS projects, you will analyze the requirements and develop suitable solution concepts together with all those involved.
  • Advising and supporting users and troubleshooting are part of your day-to-day business.
Requirements

  • A completed university degree (Bachelor, Diplom (FH)) in the field of computer science, e.g. in the field of IT system integration, business informatics or administrative informatics.
  • Persons who have equivalent skills and relevant experience in the aforementioned fields of computer science are also eligible.
Ideally You Have

  • Professional experience in the field of digitization and document management.
  • Experience in planning and implementing projects.
  • Professional experience in a public authority or a medium-sized company.
  • Professional experience with desktop and server operating systems and their integration into IT structures.
  • A high degree of flexibility and commitment.
