Your responsibilities:

• Planning, implementing, and managing network and firewall infrastructures to ensure smooth operations.
• Taking responsibility for the reliability of network components like switches, firewalls, load balancers, including monitoring and incident management.
• Managing security solutions such as XDR / MDR and handling security incidents.
• Developing standards, technical guidelines, and operating concepts.
• Handling colleagues' IT concerns and supporting them via our internal ticket system.
• Working within an international team and being the point of contact for technical and organizational questions.

Your profile:

• Degree in computer science or equivalent training.
• Several years of experience in network administration.
• Knowledge of LAN, WAN, WLAN, firewall administration, routing, and switching, preferably with PaloAlto & Cisco.
• Initial knowledge of data centre operations, NAC, 1x authentication, network automation, and WAN environments like MPLS.
• Experience with IT security and XDR / MDR solutions is a plus.
• Proficiency in German and English.
• Valid EU work permit.
• Ability to collaborate and work in a team.
