Hyundai Motorsport GmbH in Frankfurt am Main is seeking a Composite Technician to join our team, handling composite materials, hand-laminate components, and preparing tooling for curing. You will work under project engineers and follow strict build manuals in a high-performance setting.

Responsibilities include quality control, record-keeping, and timely task prioritization with a flexible schedule to accommodate shifts if required in a dynamic, international motorsport environment.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to interpret basic instruction via detailed drawings/instructions.
• Experience in a low volume vehicle production / motorsport build environment.
• Experience in composite trimming, grinding, drilling to high standards.
• Good verbal & written communication skills.
• Ability to keep calm under pressure.
• Ability to work in a team as well as solo.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate shift work if required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• An eye for detail and pride in making things by hand.

Based in Frankfurt am Main - Germany, Hyundai Motorsport GmbH is responsible for Hyundai's global motorsport activities and primarily for its World Rally Championship program. We are currently looking for a Composite Technician to join our team.

Main tasks

• Handle composite materials and follow established safety procedures
• Hand-laminate composite components to specifications provided by project engineers
• Prepare components for curing utilizing vacuum bagging procedures
• Prepare tooling patterns and moulds using chemical sealers and release systems
• Fabricate moulds from supplied patterns
• Follow build manuals and quality control processes
• Consult and resolve quality issues as they arise, in consultation with project engineers
