The gross annual salary is between €73,000 and a maximum of €75,900, depending on qualifications. Please note that we can only consider candidates with a valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU (no student visa).

Job description
Tasks
  • Plan, manage and document research and technology (R&T) activities in the field of composite manufacturing technologies
  • Support technology trials directly on the shop floor within the local composite R&T team
  • Develop and implement technology roadmaps to transfer innovative approaches into industrial applications
  • Design new tools and develop manufacturing processes for composite materials (CFRP) up to industrial maturity
  • Define and lead development projects, including automation solutions and monitoring systems for CFRP components
  • Ensure harmonized Manufacturing Engineering (ME) principles and state-of-the-art best practices across engineering activities
  • Conduct project reviews, apply structured risk management and derive action plans
  • Collaborate closely with internal interfaces, such as production, quality and design, to ensure successful industrialization of developed solutions
Requirements
  • Completed university degree in engineering, aerospace, composite materials or industrial engineering
  • Several years of professional experience in design, manufacturing engineering and composites (CFRP)
  • Experience in project management
  • Sound knowledge of risk management; knowledge of AI and data analysis is an advantage
  • Proficient in CATIA V5 and Google Workspace
  • Business fluent German and English skills (min. C1)
  • Willingness to travel within Europe (approx. once per quarter)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) and an English-language CV are mandatory
