To continue this incredible adventure, we are currently looking for a motivated Compliance Manager (m/w/x) full-time to join our in-house Legal team at our Berlin HQ (hybrid, 3 days a week).
What you will contribute:

• Compliance Management:
  • Supervise and further develop a company-wide Compliance Management System (CMS)
  • Monitor and manage adherence to internal and external policies and applicable regulations (especially GDPR, BDSG, and other relevant standards)
  • Develop, maintain, and oversee policies and procedures to minimize corporate risk
  • Act as the point of contact for management and employees regarding compliance and data protection topics, including designing and leading training programs
• Data Protection under EU and German Law:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant data protection regulations under the EU GDPR and BDSG
  • Implement and maintain technical and organizational measures (TOMs)
  • Conduct and manage data protection impact assessments and develop actionable recommendations
  • Train and raise awareness among employees regarding data protection and IT security
• Risk Management:
  • Identify, assess, and monitor company-wide risks in collaboration with relevant departments
  • Develop and maintain a risk inventory
  • Support and advise management in establishing a sustainable risk culture
• Organization and Communication:
  • Prepare for and support internal and external audits
  • Collaborate closely with the legal department, data protection officers, and various teams and departments across the organization

What You Bring:

• A completed degree in Law, Business, Data Protection, Risk Management, or a comparable qualification
• 2-5 years of experience in the data protection/compliance field, ideally including within fast-paced e-commerce environments
• Experience in implementing and managing a Compliance Management System, and at least basic knowledge in Enterprise Risk Management
• Proven practical experience in data protection (GDPR, BDSG)
• Deep knowledge of German and European compliance and data protection laws
• Strong analytical skills, initiative, and a structured, solution-oriented approach
• Strong communication and advisory skills
• Previous experience with Jira and OneTrust would be an advantage
• Excellent English skills, B2+ German skills would be considered a strong plus
