SE DC APB PLM provides reliable and cost-efficient PLM IT solutions to Siemens Energy businesses. The team focuses on improving delivery, implementing new technologies, enhancing security, and enabling global collaboration.

As a Senior Solution Architect (f/m/d) for COMOS, you will work with our global COMOS IT team to serve internal customers. Siemens Energy manages over 1600 COMOS environments. Your responsibilities include supporting the helpdesk, implementing COMOS projects, and addressing challenges like cDB to iDB transition, environment migration, and harmonizing legacy customizations based on C#.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Support the COMOS helpdesk team at L3 level, familiarizing with IT processes, environments, and businesses across Siemens Energy
• Develop continuous improvement ideas to enhance user experience
• Design concepts for integrating COMOS data into the PLM landscape, interfacing with SAP, Teamcenter, and other IT systems
• Present ideas and concepts in meetings, decision boards, and to stakeholders
• Manage IT projects with budget planning, forecasting, and executive reviews
• Promote knowledge sharing and community building within the global PLM team

What You Bring

• Professional experience in Information Technology or equivalent in the IT industry, including transitioning from other fields
• At least five years of experience in COMOS administration and development
• Advanced knowledge of C# and Microsoft .NET Framework, including APIs (RESTful API, OpenAPI)
• Ability to evaluate technical and economic solutions
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills; customer-oriented team player
• Business-fluent English (written and spoken); willingness to travel globally; German language skills are a plus
