Community Manager (Freelance Germany)

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for a qualified freelancer to help take our Community Management to the next level. If you are a social-savvy professional, experienced in working with top brands, coming up with creative ideas, and thinking of innovative ways to stand out on social media, we would like to meet you.

Our ideal candidate has exceptional oral and written communication skills and is a witty, engaging individual, with strong social skills to moderate and actively participate in online communities. They’ll be able to engage with outdoor mountain sports enthusiasts' social content, to the highest standard, talking to them on their level.

This will be a remote and adaptive role that matches the lifestyle of audiences, your passions and the goals of the client. This is not for those who want to sit in an office in front of a screen 9-5, but who are happy with hours flexibility, the occasional weekend event, evening party, or late start.

Responsibilities

1. Responding to comments, DMs and customer queries in a timely manner.
2. Build community on social, ultimately boosting brand awareness.
3. Searching for user-generated and athlete-generated content, and making content suggestions to the client.
4. Community management support remotely and in real-time for live events.
5. Scheduling content through Sprinklr and/or posting content natively and community managing the channel once that content is live.

1. Fluency in English, and German as a native language is required.
2. Exceptional knowledge and an unwavering passion for the outdoor industry and landscape.
3. Proven work experience as a community manager.
4. Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics.
5. Excellent verbal communication skills.
6. Excellent writing skills.
7. Hands-on experience with social media management for brands.
8. Knowledge of Sprinklr.
9. Knowledge of all social media channels - from content best practices to algorithm posting hacks!
10. Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
11. Ability to be flexible and work under pressure.
