DB SCHENKER is filling the position of a Communication Manager Logistics with a focus on external communications (f / m / d). In this position, you will create content and manage activities centered on, but not limited to, external communications. You will work within a small team of experts in the Global Team Content & Internal Communications, creating and distributing a constant stream of appealing content via social media and other channels such as blogs and the corporate website. You will report to the Global Head of Content and Internal Communications. Through your activities, you will contribute significantly to the corporate success of the global DB SCHENKER brand and campaigns in collaboration with other teams of the global MarCom team.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Production of short videos to underline communication topics.
2. Support video productions in the DB SCHENKER owned studio.
3. Collaborate with and steer external service providers such as editors, videographers, etc.
4. Manage and evolve existing editorial formats across various media.
5. Ensure the production and distribution of compelling storytelling that conveys the core messages of our brand, products, and services, contributing to strategic messaging with Business and Functional Units, regions, and clusters.
6. Research, implement, and coordinate communication topics, facts, and figures that illustrate the core messages of DB SCHENKER, based on close cooperation with regional and global teams.

Requirements

Personal Qualities, Skills, and Experience in Detail:

• Fluency in English is essential; German and/or additional European languages are desirable.
• Strategic, conceptual, and problem-solving skills with a well-structured approach; strong business and entrepreneurial thinking; self-organization, personal responsibility, critical thinking, and strong copywriting skills.
• Experience in project management and managing matrix structures, interfaces, freelancers, and external agencies to enhance efficiency.
• Hands-on experience with basic video production steps, including shooting, editing, posting, and supporting studio productions.
• Excellent language skills, especially in corporate multimedia storytelling and Social Media within a B2B context.
• Strong copywriting, editing, and journalistic skills in English and preferably German.
