COMMUNICATION MANAGER (M/F/D)

FULL TIME | SWISPORT GENEVA AIRPORT

In the role of the Communication Manager, you are taking responsibility for Corporate Communications at Swissport's Geneva site and are a member of the Regional Communication Team CHIF. You are involved in regional and global projects and develop as well as implement concepts of communication strategies for the GVA site.

YOUR MISSION

• Communication consulting for management and experts
• Responsibility for, planning and implementation of
  • local media relations and customer communication
  • internal communication
  • GVA-specific content for Swissport International's social media channels
  • crisis communication
• Management and support of communication projects within the regional communication team
• Commissioning, briefing and working with PR, PA or design agencies
• Creation of photo and video content for internal and external audiences as well as organization of professional photo or video shoots
• Monitoring of the communication channels and media coverage
• Reputation and issue management
• Ensuring compliance with corporate design and branding guidelines

YOUR PROFILE

• Degree in communications or journalism
• 3 years of relevant experience in media relations, social media in corporate communications, customer and internal communications
• First experience as well as in conceptual work, strategic and integrated communications management, preferably in the aviation, transportation, logistics or tourism industry and/or in the B2B sector
• French as mother tongue, excellent written and oral expression
• Excellent knowledge of English (oral and written)
• Knowledge of German and Italian is an advantage
• IT skills: MS Office, Teams, CMS, SharePoint, Social Media platforms, image and video editing programs, ChatGPT
• Creative flair for audiovisual storytelling and design, paired with hands-on experience in photography, video shooting and post-production
• Experience with AI content creation
